I watched the pats game tonight.
Mike Jordan had a really nice game. Goff played OK but his receivers did him few favors. I noted that Robinson (holding penalty), Britt (two drops and a false start), Kendricks (drop) are all off the team. Quick had a nice game. Rams played relatively well but the OL was just not good and the drops and penalties were just killers. Donald caused a few pressures but little more. Austin didn't play. I think Gurley and Goff are going to be OK under McVay. But the pats game was just Goff's 3rd game, so teams aren't blitz happy yet. Goff got hit plenty but he moves well in the pocket and doesn't seem rattled. A few errant throws though.
If McVay can minimize the mistakes (dumb mistakes) then I think it would really help them sustain drives and score points. Add in a more effective scheme and playcalling and a few more weapons... I am looking at you Kool Aid...
