Just like in DC, McVay likes attacking the edges and then rolling oppo way with his QB off that play action...with this line I can see almost 100% "fake RIGHT" and roll left with Whit protecting Goff's back/blind side. IF they try that one the other way I fear when Goff turns he is going to be murdered by and LDE!
Agree on Gurley and I'm not just talking about when he got immediately hit in the backfield which was NOT his fault, he just does not look special to ME. Now when he's in the open field he'll run like a thoroughbred but he needs to be much better making guys miss and getting "what's there" or he's not going to be a Ram beyond this season imo.
I like very much what I saw from Kupp including things that go unnoticed like when he caught that check down on 2nd and 15 and got 16...he GOT "16" because, if you noticed, just as it looked like he was going out at FOURTEEN yards he swings his right leg (the one CLOSEST to OO

The rookie TE Everret everyone is glowing about? I had pause on him...twice he caught the ball and STOPPED before makign a move, almost expecting a hit before starting again. Also, I thought he looked a little "stiff-hipped" to me? I'll keep an eye on him going forward for sure.
The OL is still an issue and those thinking Hav to RT is going to solve all ills....I wonder.
WITHOUT Whitworth the season would already be over...make NO mistake about that!
D reminded me a lot of Lovie's D's...they were FLYING to the ball in masses!
Small sample on Woods but he's better than that and hopefully with Watkins by his side he will show it.
