The Rams would save nearly $15 mil. if he was traded but the other team would have to absorb $15 mil.
The are very few teams that could do that now AND they wouldn't give any draft compensation worth anything if they did.
As for being cut after the season, the Rams would only $3 mil. The real savings for him is in 2019.
