No one else has talked about his lack of zip on the ball...unlike, say a Marino, he needs everything set right to make a throw. Well, he does have great feet, so that should help when it gets rought.
And Siemens and Lynch generated nothing on offense. Siemens was the starter last season. Some kid named Lother playing against the scrubs threw the only TD pass for the Broncos on the night. Other TDs for Broncos came on a pick six and a long run. QBs Siemens and Lynch were ineffective and unimpressive. Zip on the ball was one of my thoughts during that game. Looks like Siemens is more of a touch passer and Lynch I am not sure. Lynch
looked really bad in my opinion.
Comparatively Goff, Mannion and Orslovsky whom I have watched several practices in person now and I'd say arm strength and "zip" is about the same. Infact
maybe the veteran Orslovsky has been more impressive in regards to velocity and zip on the ball.
While we have not seen a lot of Wow moments of the 3 QBs passing the ball I'd say they are all on the same level right now and for Mannion if he wants to displace Goff then he's not accomplishing that. He has not demonstrated there is any advantage to starting him over Goff.
