Obviously only after the Cowboys sub out their DL starters.
Reason I ask is, although the joint practices with the Chargers are nice, preseason games take things up a notch. And despite starting 7 games last season, the more time Goff gets out on the field surveying other defenses and throwing to different targets...the better, right?
I get 6 - 12 snaps in preseason Game 1 for a veteran, but we have to remember that Goff still likely needs the reps just to make sure the proper call is spit out. Ideally, I'd like to see him out there for a quarter with at least 7 - 8 passing opportunities. But I'd rather not have Whit, Saff, or Sully in there for too long.
