I believe I first heard the term in the early 70's going back to Norm Bulash with the. Dolphins. ..
Our RB Jewerl Thomas got the tag also at 5-10,and 230ish.

Its been altered slightly over the year bladed bbowling Ball.. .or . Rolling Ball of butcher knives or blades of some sort.
Some one who is extremely strong stout and pretty much short and would knock a defender off their pins is fit for it.

An X Bear even described his whole team like that.
The phase is pretty old.
