As wonderful as the speeches can be, they're too long. I'm sure that prompted some to leave early.
They need to have a time limit for the speeches.
That said, you make a good point about the Charger, Ram and Cardinal fan bases.
Agree on these length os speaches and they were DAMN LUCKY it was very unseasonably cool last night or they may have been 10 people still remaining when it finally got to Kurt.
I heard he was last so I said "screw that" and just watched it at my choosing afterwards.
