I know he was playing against scrubs last night even from the get go in that "Hall of Fame" game but you have to admit that Gabbert looked very competent and smooth and sharpe out there directing Arians offense. Knowing Carson Palmer, he is surely going to go down at some point again during the season and you know, Gabbert may have lucked into a real opportunity to be the Cardinals starter for seasons to come if he's as good as he looked last night.
Me thinks the 49ers cut him loose too soon.
