The bottom line is winning. Doesn't matter how. Most people just see the bottom line. And I think its easier to just believe the lie than to believe that a team can cheat their way to multiple super bowls. And no one wants an asterisks by the wins or seasons. The game is too important. NFL doesn't want it and fans don't want it.

The media loves it and it gets tons of attention but the bottom line is winning. Fines and some short suspensions to buy a Super Bowl? Seems ok.

All of this is in general. There are some people who don't see it this way and believe there should be more penalties and asterisks by the season. IDK, its entertainment and probably doesn't matter that much. But IMO "cheating" and "winner" should not be in the same sentence. And definitely not GOAT...
