Looks to me like Fahey's evaluation of Wentz was that he wasn't going to start immediately, nothing about how he would finish.
Btw, he was not slated to start in Philly.
Essentially his analysis on the link you provided of Goff was that he would be a competent compliment in a run oriented offense.
That screams Trent Dilfer to me.
Dak played well in a controlled offense throwing short passes in a coddled scheme.
His story is far from written.
