I will will go slow city slicker.
1. Orlovsky is a camp arm and plays the back end of most of the preseason games.
2. He gets cut at the end of preseason.
3. He is not eligible for the practice squad so he goes home to sell Farmers Insurance after turning down All State.
4. Rams play with 2 QBs on the roster and no QB on the practice squad. Just like last year.
5. If Goff goes down, mannion moves up (because as much as McSnead would love to dump Mannion right now they have no option but to keep him) and guess who is out there and free to sign? Orlovsky.
But No Sale!
I understand "camp arms" I also understand this is a losing organization that needs to take every opportunity to get better!
The Rams need to start "winning" like yesterday so bring in athletes to compete that have a chance to improve the roster.
They have no options and are not creating any.
IF the Rams have to play with Sean Mannion we'll see them at the top of the draft yet again.
IF you can't bring in anybody to push Mannion you've failed to get better.
Take a guy like Matt McGloin, he would have pushed Mannion right off the roster.
Orlovsky? Pffffttt
