...without question the Ram's organization has a toxic culture. Complacent, lazy and dumb at every turn. It's evident in the Win Loss column, which is all that matters.
However, when you get rare looks on the inside, you find a football organization with all kinds of symptoms of stupidity and country club mentality:
Coaches wearing flip flops everywhere
Golf cart shenanigans
Britney Spears, rappers, etc. invited to practices
A "general manager" that is non-existent in terms of public leadership
An owner that is constantly lying and in hiding
Social media snapshots of players that have far too many outside projects to concentrate on Super Bowls
Ridiculous contracts to below average football players (Austin)
Letting key players walk (Jenkins)
Several seasons of a high school offensive scheme
Drafting project players instead of established, 'start today' top picks
If you think this has changed, I'd suggest looking at Kroenke, who is much more interested in building an 'entertainment center', not a dynastic football team.
Does Belicheck or Kraft allow this type of dynamic with their team?
The culture is a wasteland. I'm hoping McVay can be the force for change this franchise needs.
