What I don't understand is why the Rams so willingly bent themselves over in an effort to give such a ridiculous amount of money to Tavon Austin, who is only an average football player at best.
Aaron Donald is elite. It just doesn't make sense.
Couple things, Tavon was coming off a pretty good year with over 1000 total yards and 10 TD's.( in what we all agree was a pretty bad offensive scheme) Also, he hardly got elite type WR money.
His contract averages just over $10mil a year....not exactly the kinda money someone like Donald is going to be asking for.... and nowhere near top WR type money like AB, Julio and Aj Green...
Let's just hope McVay can get him back to 1000 yards 10 TD's type seasons...
