I don't want that, because it's an expensive 2 year rental. I hope they get something done but I'm doubtful, and I think the Rams will tag him once then let him go. I think the risk of tagging someone a second time and getting a deal done is low. And I am afraid it could lower his motivation while increasing his frustration. I can only think of one player that has had that done off the top of my head and that was Pace. And IMO that didn't work out all that well.
The new CBA needs to be tweaked. The NFL needs to sit down with the union and see if they can fix this. The rookie cap is too restrictive and it's got to loosen up a bit.
