People say Tebow cannot throw down field. Well, the Rams have not done that AT ALL for the last 13 +years. A QB with Tebow's style opens plays for WRs underneath. Tavon could've been the Percy Harvin of the O. Would we win a playoff. Not sure but I bet we sure as hell would've been closer than with Keenum, Davis or any of the other 7-8 failures. With the Rams close to the vest O that we saw the past several seasons, tell me who the defense would respect more....The statues we have had or a guy that might come after you instead?
Actually (and Tebow aside) the Rams have ranked pretty high in terms of the percentage they've thrown deep. Talking about longer passes of 30 years or more. For the last few years anyway they've been at the top third of the league with that.
They tended to be lacking in the 15 or so to 20 or so yard range.
