It's not at all close, IMO. Martin is very good. But he hasn't proven it over the course of an entire career. Harrah did.
I agree about the Mack placement. And I really miss those old lines the Rams had in the 1960s thru the 1980s. On both sides of the ball. The Rams used to always send several guys to the Pro Bowl. Can't remember the season, but they sent four O-line guys one year . . . . and while the Fearsome Foursome was in effect, that should have happened there, too.
When you say its not close, you're right its not.
Martin is superior in every way besides possibly smarts and that's only because I'm sure there is more for him to learn.
He's superior in movement, power and athleticism.
Times have changed tremendously, players are just better than they were 30 years ago.
