I really think there is a fair chance that liability you mention shows its ugly face again like you even suggest, so there should be no excuses by any of us if and when it happens
I simply do not put extensive OL injuries on coaches so to me, there's no one to "blame" or "excuse." As I said several times, the Rams have a long, deep history with extensive OL injuries and it never gets down to who was previously injured and who wasn't. It just happens.
We completely differ on that and in fact I feel that I am just repeating myself.
This is our agree to disagree impasse: you think coaches are somehow responsible and blameworthy for things like that, and I never have and most likely never will. That's an impasse I don't see us surmounting, and each of us has made a pretty clear statement of our positions. So if you don't mind, I am bowing out. Fair enough?

Coaches are responsible for the personnel decisions. Of course Fisher had more control in that area more than McVay, but McVay certainly has some say in those moves. More praise/critique need to be shifted toward Snead now that he has been empowered more for personnel moves.
So yes, I will always put blame on coaches and GM`s for making the wrong personnel moves. Its not all bad luck. Isn`t it funny how the coaches and GM`s who are unsuccessful are the ones with all this so called, "bad luck", lol. You make your own luck. There is a reason why the Rams suck!
