From my life experience, I have always found that a healthy dose of skepticism is a good thing.
I thought Cromwell's missives were spot on.
Incumbent players (not hand-picked by incoming new regime) heap praise on new incoming Head Coach ________(fill in blank).
WOW!!! Shocking!!
It's called "trying to make the roster". Duh.
Scotty Flounder Linehan and Steve CaptainQueeg Spagnuolo were the Hot Co-Ordinators Du Jour back when.....
they too got praised by the incumbent Ram players. They both ended up being bums when it came to producing W's.
Hopefully our new new Hot Co-Ordinator Du Jour, Sean McVay fares better eh!!
In other news....
It is damn hard to slam a revolving door.
