Sorry, Zn, but equating project and small school is a poor definition.

But, whatever floats your boat.

Kupp's production in college was such that it is possible to project him as a pro, and he is universally acknowledged to be very technically advanced. Kupp is no project.

Everett is far less easy to project. He is a project.

The issue isn't "small school" per se. It's the degree to which you can or cannot project his pro readiness on the basis of his college play. In Everett's case those questions happen to arise from the level of competition he faced, among other things.


Auburn is not a small school but you had to consider their offense and see that you were basically in the position of projecting whether or not Robinson could play the pro-style game.

Kupp performed at a very high level AND has mastered a great deal of technical skills that will translate to the pros.

Because Everett went to a small school, and did not display the level of technique Kupp has (relative to their different positions), and was not productive at the same level, he still has question marks and requires a lot more development than Kupp.

Kupp is not a project, Everertt is (and I am pro-Everett btw).
