If they keep Goff fairly clean, the offense has a chance. He gets hit like last year, he wont make it through the season.
A lot of what went wrong last year had to do with Goff's own greenness. An experienced qb can spot blitzes pre-snap and counter them, either with audibles or hitting the hot read (among other solutions). That's why Goff had nearly twice the sack percentage Keenum did behind the same OL.
It was never one thing last year. And that means, it was never one thing about anything. It was never one thing with the offense, with the defense, with the team as a whole, and so on.
Goff improving will improve the OL as much as the OL improving will improve Goff.
