Well, that could be taken that you always need an offensive coach as Head Coach, however, the best Head Coach/QB relationship right now is Belichick & Brady, however, Belichick evolved after losing to Peyton Manning and the Colts to make the offense and his Quarterback more of the focal point. Also the Patriots have always had top flight offensive coordinators and this is in essence where Fisher missed the mark.
Hired Brian Schottenheimer over Hue Jackson (strike 1) after Schotty moves to college promotes QB Coach Frank Cignetti to OC (strike 2) then fires Cignetti and promotes Rob Boras to OC and keeps him in that role the following season (strike 3) and you're out!
