den-the-coach
Leeman Bennett, Ken Meyer, Ray Prochaska & Dick Vermeil (RB Coach) on offense, Ray Malavasi, Tom Catlin & Jim Wagstaff on defense. Knox really set the tone for one heck of a coaching staff with Knox being only 41 at the time...History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes.

Prochaska was George Allen's line coach at one time and Knox brought him back. Vermeil was with Allen and Prothro. In fact Vermeil was the first special teams coach in the NFL under Allen. And I think Rich Brooks who would be a future Rams head coach was on the Prothro staff and maybe the Knox staff as well. Both Vermeil and Brooks would go back to UCLA and I think Brooks was actually the head coach at Oregon. Vermeil would take the 1976 Bruins to the Rose Bowl and beat Woody Hayes and Ohio State. Then he would become the head coach of the Eagles and Terry Donohue would become UCLA's head coach.
