Gabe was all excited for Tucker and ran down the field to congratulate him.
Tucker had great speed but bad hands. The Rams really missed Bernie Casey who retired and went into the movies.
I felt at the time that the Rams were in the driver seat after beating the Colts in the opener. They really used that game to springboard their season.
They were recognized as the best team in the NFL for most of the season, then when they lost to the Vikes in LA things changed. And Joe Kapp suddenly became the hot commodity.
