Higbee last year looked like a semi truck catching balls and plowing through our secondary in camp, and I couldn't wait to see him do it live, but come preseason the rook showed. And as we all know that position is tough. So I don't know, I mean I hope Everett can be a quick study since McVay won't be lining him up on the LOS, using him to block and whatnot on the line. But I'm thinking best case he starts making contributions more and more as the season unfolds and hopefully finishes strong.
I'll say this, he does seem like a tough minded kid, super competitive vice all talk like some others we've had catching balls here of late, so he might be that guy the staff was right about, got my fingers crossed there.
