There are dozens of names that don't work out. The odds are against it. If it was so easy to spot these guys they wouldn't be drafted in the later rounds.
I agree that it's long odds against you getting a starting QB after the 2nd round.
There's a reason teams go crazy drafting QBs high; a sustainable starting QB is worth his weight in gold. There are maybe 20 of them in the world and they affect the game more than any other position.
