the cutdowns after the final preseason game is great news for teams trying to protect their starters. To watch your starters wandering into the 4th quarter; particularly on defense, has been tough. Always hoping that no one gets hurt.

for the Rams not only does that give a shot for these linebackers to get sorted out, but also some additional reps to bubble guys on offense at WR, RB, and even perhaps a guy like Hemmingway.
