What they had built was majestical. We can't know, of course, but I think had Vermeil stayed Martz would have been 'controlled'... any 'mistakes' of 99' analyzed and addressed prior to the 00' season.

agree...Vermeil made horrible decision to retire, he was the start of the demise for sure.
