When they repeat my order I just say "Yeah"... then settle for whatever they give me.
Here's my typical conversation when going thru the drive-thru.
"I'll have a #2, small size, with a Sprite".
The 50's style drive-in movie speaker, "Ok, was that a #2?"
Me, "Yes".
The Speaker, "What size would you like?"
Me, "Small"
The Speaker, "What about the fries"
Me, "Small"
The Speaker, "And the drink size?"
Me, "Small".
The Speaker, "And what would you like to drink?".
Me, "A Sprite".
The Speaker, "What size?"
Me, "Small".
The Speaker, "Ok, that's a hmmph umm hprah fnorp furdle umplabash gorpit sonk turkle Small size, right?"
