Cards swooped in and took him from under the Rams' noses. He is a slot/FS type with great range, basically a Joyner type with wheels. IMO that was the Rams' top target there in round 2.

But sometimes teams luck into better players than what they wanted. Not sure Everett is going to work out, and didn't like the pick at the time, but I've warmed to it and hope he beasts in this offense.
