I've live my entire life in SoCal as well, and I like both USC and UCLA. I didn't go to either school so I think it's OK! Anyway, one of my good friends is a big time USC fan, even though he didn't go there, and can't understand how I can like both schools. I tell him they are the local schools and I'm a fan of the local teams, and then I ask him why is he such a big USC fan and hates UCLA when he didn't even go to USC. His argument is that it's "Southern Cal"! And UCLA's not??? LOL. We have this argument every football season.
