Evaluating this draft is heavily dependent on the Snead/McVay evaluation of the OL. If they got it right, then there is a reasonable argument for taking Everett over Lamp. But if they got it wrong, then they blew the draft, IMO.

Maybe its the history that I'm hung up on but I can't remember the last time the Rams drafted a stud interior OL high. And these guys just continue the trend of dismissing the value of drafting a stud OC. It's no wonder the Rams OL has continually got stuffed near the goal line. They'd better know what they're doing with this OL, cause a lot depends on it not getting Goff pummeled.

I can't help but feel that Lamp fell into their laps and they screwed the pooch. I think Lamp is the type of pick that the good teams sit and take when other teams are busy getting "their guy" at least a half round earlier cause they have "a plan."

All I can add is that Everett better be good cause if he's no better than a Lance Kendricks I'll be fuming.

I know this sounds like an old tune to you and I but the Rams again are starting at an almost devoid of "weapons" level BUT via the draft we are to believe THIS new group were all found in the weeds by our brilliant new brain trust (same old Snead however) and everyone who drafted skilled players ahead of ours are fools.

So maybe this time we hit a lot of HR's?

I just choose to reserve judgement yet again because I can already here the words from 1 Rams Way (or whatever the new address is) "we new these guys were going to take time to come around..." as the Rams average 11 points/game yet again...
