JG still looks like a slim jim even if he's added a few lbs and more strength.I said in a post last year that I believed JG's metabolism and youth
(& don't give me the enzyme DNA issue he's been diagnosed with) would be why he would come back in his second season still looking like a slim jim. I was correct.
He's barely 22 1/2 years old and I doubt he will put on a true 8-10 lbs of girth until he's probably 24 or 25 years old..
His metabolism, youth and skinny legs "is what it is".
He might weigh in at 222-225 lbs with extra added muscle mass
(muscle is heavier than fat but doesn't always show up in photos) from him lifting weights but I doubt he ever fills out any time soon from just eating more food and putting on extra natural girth..
This doesn't bother me as much as some fans because he's a pocket passer first and I'm believing he's learned from the NFL poundings he absorbed in his rookie season.
He surely must remember last seasons beatings that could've been avoided by not holding onto the ball so long while he was staring down field for WR's that were never going to get open.
The unnecessary punishment he took in his rookie season from lack of experience should decrease by a surmountable difference.
This should now be clear as bell for him going into the 2017 season.
This isn't the PAC12 anymore Jared and the poundings you took last year should be fresh in your memory.
