I listened to their interview and you could tell that the offensive players excite the coach and that he was very involved in the picks. These guys are smart and have played 4 years and will be more ready to go this year than what we have seen in the past.
Les Snead probably made the decision to trade down I think he excels in this area now but will always remember Bobby Wagner. I also like how Les has adapted to understand the type of football players coach wants and how he and coach are in lock step.
So far is seems the even though we have a coaching staff focused on teaching and developing that we took mature, developed and smart players.
I also think that we were luck to get Goff last year and I am willing to wait until the end of the year before declaring that we should have taken Wentz. If he does not perform this year it will be bad. We have an offensive coach great coordinators, the offensive line has been solidified, and we have weapons though some are young, especially at TE. Still we should start having high expectations for Goff and for the offense this year. Granted it may take a few games for things to sync up but not a whole season and not half a season 3 or 4 games max.
I really like what I am seeing this year and it is very refreshing versus Fisher. McSnead seems like a much better combination.
