Here were my predictions in my trade down scenario I mocked the other day. It reflects what I felt would be their general strategy and positions priority based on private visits.
"They will hit WR more than once IMO. One will be a late round take the top off the defense specialist. They will grab a safety. If it’s not early it will be very late like rounds 6 or 7. Center will be a position they pick up in the late rounds too. At least one CB and a TE will happen but they could be anywhere."For the first 4 picks I had them hitting WR, FS, Edge, and TE. Scratch three of those off the list now.
They are still looking for a deep threat WR, and a late round Center for sure. Most likely a CB and a OLB/DE too.
Here are some names I think they'd be interested in:
OLB/DE - Vince Biegel, Carl Lawson
Deep threat WRs - Josh Reynolds, KD Cannon, Dangelo Yancy, Mack Hollins, Shelton Gibson, Jamari Staples - The first 3 guys they brought in for private visits.
CB's - Jalen Myrick, Corn Elder
C - Chase Roullier, Max Halpin
I can see something like:
112 - Edge, Carl Lawson - basically either an edge defender or CB here.
141 - WR, Mack Hollins - deep threat specialist
189 - C, Chase Roullier
206 - WR, Damore'ea Stringfellow
234 - CB, Joshua Holsey
