Obviously, you woudn't trade for him 43 unless you wanted to be sure you could get him. Frankly for a 7th if this guy is healthy, he would be a great Vet presence on a team with no Vets in the WR/TE Room other than Woods.

The fact that they are apparently just cutting him is surprising. To me, it means he is damaged goods otherwise the notion that they couldn't get a 7th for him makes no sense.
