Zay would be in more of a possession role taking care of the underneath stuff in the offense. He doesn't have deep speed - and definitely not like Jackson - and was only targeted deep 13% of the time in college. Most deep threats were in the 30-40% range.
Jones played a lot from the slot. If they select him I'd expect that's the role he would have on the Rams.

Contrast that with a guy like Juju at 14%, Godwin at 0%, Tawan Taylor at 16%...etc.
My main point was that Jones was used as a possession receiver, finding the underneath soft spots in the zone.
In McVay's scheme I think that's where he would fit.
I'm skeptical of Juju's fit with Woods. I think we may be on the same page with that.
And I don't think Juju can be the deep threat. Not Zay either IMO. It would be projecting with him because he hasn't done it nor does he have the speed.
37 is too early for Godwin and Jones IMO. I see both starting in the 50 range.
