If memory serves didn't NE win that game on a Hail Mary or some crazy play at the end?

Actually that's not true. I was at the New England v Ram game in Anaheim when Robinson inserted Everett in the middle of the game for his first game. And he was lights out. From that moment he was the starter and played really well for years up to near the end of his Ram career. His favorite target was Henry Ellerd who said Everett could throw the deep sideline out better than any qb alive.

Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
