The name Rasul Douglas has never come out of my mouth. He's too tall and grabby and not a man cover IMO..
Yes there are several corners that I like but let me repeat this one more time.
This is about value, most people are projecting multiple corners going in the first round, some in the top 10. Once again I do not think their are that many corners worthy of being drafted that high. My top CBs are #6, #25, #29, #30 and #32 overall. So I'm not nearly as high on these guys as others. I do not disagree with you. And that fact that 3 of my 5 are barely top 32 and I could have easily made them 2nd rounders just adds to the fact that I'm not nearly the fan the mainstream scouts are.
The gap between the projected top guys and later guys is not that wide IMO. I think some of the later guys are being undervalued, but its kinda tricky. The only reason they are lower ranked is because the higher ranked guys push them down. Do I think Moreau @ 54 is that much worse then Conley? These rankings are so subjective I wouldn't get too worked up about a 20 slot difference.
This chatter about you could find this or that on any player is just mindless drivel...of course you can and that is divergent to my point. No,
you never stated in your videos you posted on Conley or Humphrey that the reason you posted them was about value. You did later on in the thread.
I'm not drafting a corner in the first round who's talent is marginally better than a player I could get in the 2nd or even 3rd. Neither are the Rams.
Marshon Lattimore is a great prospect at corner, but I'm concerned about his soft tissue issues. As am I.
Lattimore has first rd talent. Agreed, I have him ranked 6th overall, which is prolly too high for you.
Quincy Wilson is a better cover guy than Conley and both of them are poor tacklers. Agreed, he is my 3rd ranked CB at 29th overall.
So why would you take Conley in the 1st when you can get a better cover guy with the same issues (against the run) later? its my opinion that Wilson goes before Conley for the reasons you stated previously
Cam Sutton, Desmond King have value later. King is not a CB, his play speed is way too slow. I love him as a player though. Sutton I agree is great value.
Most of that was not for you dz. I wonder who it was meant for since you and I are on the same page?
