I would disagree a bit...

the team shouldn't promote publically the idea of open competition..... but if Sean Mannion plays better during this offseason and looks like he can move the team better during the regular season...he should be the starter.

Goff has been given this job...we gave up a lot for him...he has every opportunity in the world to take over as the Rams starting QB...

but if doesn't take the opportunity..or he plays like he did most of last season when he had the chance....and if Mannion shows he could do better..Mannnion should play.

I'm not sold Goff... he ran around holding the ball back there too much last year...he fumbled when he got hit..... I need to see more out of him to believe he'll be the guy...and this staff and organization don't need to waste time if he's not the guy....
