I have to say I'm in a totally different boat of thinking.I'm willing to put most of my chips on the table that with the new acquisitions of...
Kayvon Webster and now the scrappy little smurf
Nickell Robey-Coleman combined with the
hyped up depth at the cornerback position in the 2017 Draft, the Rams will probably be drafting
OFFENSE at #37.If cornerback talent is as deep in depth as all the hype suggests, there will be an abundance of similar rated talent falling to them in the 4th round.
This is not a guarantee of course because their draft team (final stacked board) might be head over heals for an
edge rusher LB/DE or safety that falls to them #37.
As of today, I'm believing cornerback has been pushed down the draft board and Offense TE/OL/WR has become the favorite for
#37. Unless a defensive stud they have targeted falls in their lap, the pendulum has seems to have swung in different direction
I agree with all of that. I definitely feel they are now more likely to draft offense at 37 and have an overall focus on offense now that another CB has been signed.
It appears to me the strategy was to take care of all of the defensive needs in free agency. That's now done except for a backup NT/DT. So yeah an offensively focused draft is probably more likely.
