Absolutely...
1) Don't trade up from #37. Amen. They will get a top 30 overall player.
2) Our #37 pick will be one of CB, WR, TE in some order. Depends on who falls. Agree. I still think an outside shot is a DE.
3) So many needs, only 8 picks. Only 2 picks considered "premium", at least in most drafts. Gotta be a BPA draft, fellas, with no room for projects or injured players. Gotta take players that can produce this season. No Sidney Jones, no Jake Butts, IOW. Sorry. Definitely... 37 and 69 need to help this year. Maybe not start but contribute.
4) My crystal ball sees a CB, WR, and a TE each drafted by the end of our 4th round selections. Position talent meets Ram needs perfectly in this draft. Yes and I'd add DE in the top four rounds. Center could be anywhere in 4th-6th now with Sullivan signed.
5) Not a prediction, but a second CB drafted would not greatly surprise me. All those secondary players of ours becoming UFA's next year is a gathering storm. Yeah, we are projected to have $80 million or so in available cap dollars next year. But that evaporates pretty quickly when one has to deal with contract extensions for the likes of Donald, Ogletree, Joyner, and quite a few others. If they draft a CB at 37 I'm not sure they'd take a 2nd later. But once you get to rounds 5-7 who knows.
