As a Rams fan my opinion on Trumain Johnson is he is not a shutdown Corner but he his darn close to being one. I know his Franchise tag money hurts the Rams ability to sign other players and for that reason I would love to see them trade him if possible. Trumain as a player is one that I'd love to see the Rams keep if they could if they could negotiate a long term deal. I fully expect that if they keep Trumain he's going to have one hell of a season in 2017 and make himself as marketable as he can for 2018. The Rams do have concerns in the secondary and Joyner is one of them and I just don't believe Joyner has very good foot speed and is burnt easily by much better players. Joyner at free safety scares me from a Rams fan standpoint.
Hopefully they will find a good free safety and strong safety combo back there in the secondary. But, as far as cornerback goes if Trumain stays and is healthy the Rams should be pretty good at the corners.
