Nope I blew it, I have not seen the other touchdowns, but I went by what a few publications wrote instead of actually watching the game. I get on others for doing that because I am always posting "Did you actually watch the game?" Kupp still had a great game, however, owning Peters was not correct and I thank you sir for taking a wrong and making it right.
Kupp did still have a great game, and it's one of the many reasons I am a fan of his. I just feel he's getting pushed up a tick er because he's the gritty/overachiever type that we all root for. He WILL succeed in the NFL, I feel he's one of the safest prospects in the entire draft but when PFF falsely says he dominated top tier prospects it gives a fairly tale impression of what Kupp's game/upside is.
Side note- This is a great example of why PFF should be taken with a huge grain of salt. They have clear favorites and negative targets...it shows often when you really compare what they grade with what you see. A basic positive play from a guy they like gets a +2 but the same play from a guy they have already determined is a bad player probably gets a push (0) or at best a +1. Over the course of a game that can really change an overall grade.
I'm not really sure that makes any sense. You think someone likes a player better and then they get a better score for basic plays where someone else would get a lower score because they are trying to push a narrative? That compromises the whole premise of their product and if you could see the work and integrity behind the scenes, you'd realize how foolish that is. I just want to tell you that grat plays still don't get +2, they aren't handed out easily. I can understand your taking things with a grain of salt.
They say he dominated Marcus Peters. Two people have repeated it because of what they said/graded...it's simply not true. I have the videos showing it's not true. So if they exaggerate his play over an entire game, I'm not making a large leap to suggest they do similar exaggerations on individual plays.
You same I'm foolish, but I provided proof...I'd say blindly following PFF is the foolish route <shrug>
