From Mike Mayock's twitter account...lol, I love messing with you. I agree with some of this, disagree with others.

My most overvalued and undervalued players in no particular order.

There are a number of such players in this draft, but these are a few of my most in each category. I'm sure others could add more.

Overvalued:

John Ross - Fast and fragile. You can only utilize that speed if you're available, he won't be available much. Knee problems in both knees, shoulder surgery coupled with a small frame? BUYER BEWARE!

Guys that are very good route runners and can take the top off of defenses are always in demand, so Ross is a sure fire 1st rounder. That being said, I am not the biggest fan of smaller WRs and his thin frame scares me. He is going to be hard pressed to get to 200 lbs. As far as the Rams go, as long as TA is on the roster I wouldn't draft another smurf WR.

Marshon Lattimore - One year of experience at the position and soft tissue issues...BUYER BEWARE!

He's my #1 CB in a deep draft. It wasn't his play that kept him from playing, it was his hammies, which could be a concern. Smooth cover corner with good size for the position.

Cooper Kupp - He's a slot receiver only in the NFL but really lacks the ability to separate from press coverage via strength or quickness. He didn't run very complex routes in college and was aided tremendously by scheme. I'm not saying he can't play, just that he is being overvalued because he will not be a dominant receiver he's a #3 IMO. He needs to be in the right system, with top threats on the outside.

I have never gotten the over rated tag on a kid that is going to be a highly productive slot WR drafted in the 3rd round...should he be drafted later? The kid's a hard worker, has great hands and competes with good size and an outstanding route runner that uses technique to get seperation. If you think he's over rated because people are talking early 2nd round, I agree. And for the record have never said the Rams should be anywhere near him @ 37.

Chris Godwin - Not nearly as explosive as his numbers would indicate, no suddenness in his movements so he will have problems separating from pro corners in man coverage. Stiff and robotic in pads. I know a lot of people here are high on him so I want you to take a look at the clip below.

I agree he is slower in pads then he performed at the pajama olympics. But again 3rd round...over rated...I'm not so sure.

Here is a really tight shot, watch Godwin's movements closely against Adoree it actually shows who both of them are. Painful

Godwin vs Adoree man coverage

Adoree Jackson - Too small, to weak with undisciplined technique to ever play outside (see clip above). If you're gonna play corner at his size you better be strong mentally with a physical mentality, he does not! He's a nickel/dime corner that shouldn't even be considered before the 4th rd but will be overdrafted.

you are the USC wonk, so I differ to you on him, but what I see is an undersized, raw CB that played too many positions and mastered none that has a ton of athletic talent and a good coach will get the most out of him, and on the other hand N.O. would be a bad landing spot.

David Njoku - A wanna be wide receiver without wide receiver hands. Very inconsistent hands and appears to lose focus periodically during games. Is a weak inline blocker, with a weak base, needs to hit them squats hard. Extremely raw player at the position.

I still like Engram for the Rams offense, and I mentioned that the week after McVay was hired. As far as Njoku, he is an athletic freak and everyone knew the combine was going to be good for him. As far as college blocking, every TE in college needs coaching up on blocking. Some more then others and some just flat out aren't built to be great blockers. Njoku should be utilized as a weapon and you are wating his talents if he doing a lot of blocking.

Marlon Humphrey - I can't believe I'm seeing this kid projected in the 1st rd. Sloppy mechanics who relies too much on his athleticism. Is not a lockdown corner in man coverage, would be better in zone immediately until he gets coached up to improve his technique. I watched him in his back pedal, a bit stiff in re-direction and had problems tracking. His physicality is his best asset but needs quite a bit of coaching in the fundamentals of the position.

His tape from last year was better then this year, but he was my 3rd ranked CB. I like his size, speed, physicality combo. Had some lapses and isn't the smoothest CB in the draft, but I am more then comfortable drafting him in the 2nd.

Undervalued:

Deshaun Watson - Has every intangible you want in a qb, and the bigger the stakes the better he played. He reminds me of Russell Wilson in that he's just a winner, but because he doesn't have prototypical physical attributes, he gets undervalued. Nick Saban says he's the best player he's ever coached against. Dude is a natural, very calm and in the moment, the situation never seems to big for him which is an integral component for a qb to posses. There shouldn't even be a discussion regarding the best qb in this draft!

<>Love his leadership, dislike the offense he comes from and his accuracy. Missed on 8 of his 60 passes at his proday and from all accounts had a mixed bag that day. His accuracy deep is concerning and he needs to make better decisions withe the football.

Christian McCaffrey - In my top 5 as one of the best football players in this draft. Can do it all, inside outside high football IQ with some of the best feet in the game. Is being undervalued because of his size and IMO his skin color at the position. The NFL is not a 25-30 carry power game anymore, therefore backs with versatility have more value. Great feet to run inside and good enough speed and excellent agility outside. Put this dude in New England, New Orleans or Cincy and its lights out.

Depends on the offense, but I mostly agree and would add that his hands are great as well. Faulk was knocked for his size too...

Ardarius Stewart - My favorite receiver in this draft, can play inside and outside and plays bigger than his measurements. Has football speed, not track speed and runs with a running back mentality after the catch. Runs tight routes, attacks the ball in the air with great body control and is looking to score every time he touches it. He combines the physicality of a Anquan Boldin with the suddenness of a Golden Tate. I love an offensive player that is looking to deliver a blow, rather than take one. Physically he's just about maxed, but has a high ceiling on the technical aspects of the game. Will be a key contributor wherever he goes.

I was wondering when someone would mention him. He was limited by QB play just like Dupree from LSU was. He does play like a RB in the open field, Has good size and decent playing speed. Knee injury caused him to miss some time I think. I liken him to a poor man's Curtis Samuel but if you want a Samuel type WR in the 3rd instead of the 2nd Stewart is your guy.

I'm surprised Trubisky didn't get mentioned by you as he is a 1 year wonder .
Caleb Brantley a DT from Florida is over rated IMO. Way too inconsistant and apparently didn't interview well.
Cam Robinson as a LT is over rated, He is a RT only IMO. Had a heck of a bad time vs. speed rushers this year.

Malachi Dupree and Josh Reynolds are my under rated WRs. But I and others have been talked about forever on this forum.

Isaac Asiata is an under rated guard from Utah whose brother is the FB for the Vikings. Active hands and a mauler. needs to play a tad more under control at times, but that is teachable. Has played LG, RT and OC so he is more flexible then you would think.
