not biggest, but there's glaring requirements
A. OT
Whitworth was superb signing. If he can stay on the field, he has the respect of his colleagues, and better yet, the officials. Somewhere in the offices of the nfl referees they all agreed that Greg Robinson was the worst offender on the field at his spot. They threw flags even when they weren't fouls. I don't think I've ever really heard Greg speak, but does he come off as shallow? As an oaf? That aside......
I expect even in a bad year, maybe by all accounts, the worst in a long while for tackle.
I don't have the Rams pick in the draft to try to fill some talent need for the position, but they've a number of later round prospects.
B. RB
Malcolm Brown, Aaron Green. Malcolm had some nice touches last year, and will enter is 3rd year. Green might have been a value pick up at the time. Chase Reynolds doesn't have a job anymore.
Yes, a 5th RB behind the aforementioned is a luxury. But neither Brown, nor Green have excelled at special teams. Fassel's input on a prospect for his teamers, balanced with a prospect for McVay ought to be a higher priority. The kid Mack out of South Fl. sounds amazing, but I don't think he's a sleeper on anyone's board. I like that Justin Davis just ripped some nice numbers at his pro day. There some fine RBs to consider. And there's this nagging bug flying around my head that says Todd isn't the guy I thought he was.
C. DT
Nazir Jones didn't do so well at his pro day if you believe web writers. Not that I have to have Jones, but measurables don't account for DTs. Just feels to me that you can always, always use another DT in rotation. Wade needs or will want more fire power to backup the meat of our defense, imo.
