Certainly wouldn't surprise me if they drafted a TE high, max. Not one bit.
Two things...
1) The way this FA season is unfolding, they seem to be addressing holes right and left. Meaning, they will be somewhat free to take BPA from the jump. Very, very smart.
2) None other than our own Alyo has claimed that this is a TE bumper crop year. If a TE that they just love falls to #37, they might go ahead and grab him right there. TE's are big, big weapons in a McVay O, so such a move would be a big time intersection of value and need, huh?
If they might take a TE at #37, then obviously they might take a good one in the 3rd or 4th rounds, too.
I will even go so far as to predict a TE by the end of the 4th round, if not before. Weapons is weapons, I say. Lol.
I do agree with you that WR and CB are likely high pick positions, as well. S? Might be a bit later in the draft.
The beautiful thing is that this draft and our needs match up so well. Particularly after the Whit signing.
