First regarding Quinn playing the Ware in Wade's defense and I can totally see that.

In his one-gap scheme, Quinn will be able to be a lot more aggressive on the outside, set the edge and make sure everything is funneled to the guys in the middle in the run game, rush the passer on pass downs.

He'll be going forward not backwards. Pretty simple.




Woody on his phone conversation with McVay:

He said that Sean told him he wanted him to be a reliable and consistent performer for the Rams who could line up outside and inside and attack all aspects of the field. He said McVay's intent is to attack all areas of the field, deep outside intermediate between the hashes etc.

They want to get Gurley going and then attack wide zone and up the field with Woody and Tavon. It sounds like we'll see an attacking style similar to what we saw from Washington and Atlanta.

With Wade Phillips on defense it looks like we're gonna have an aggressive attack, attack attack style team on both sides of the ball.

But everything hinges on Jared Goff, lets hope he makes a prodigious leap in his second season.
