started wandering through the names and the terrible injury to Jones on his pro day
can't have all these names, but do think that I've started to carve out some key names that keep coming back.......

corners
sydney jones
kevin king
adoree jackson

can't have it all, and it's killer year. Jones in the 4th? could he still be there? Adoree may fall some. There just so many kids that are off the charts, but Jackson certainly bring the ball back on special teams, and even spread the field on offense with a few snaps at WR

LBs
willis
vince badger
boulware
thing the second two could be on board later. Willis gets a lot of love from draftniks.

edge
daeshon hall
derek rivers
carl Lawson
plenty to like this year, but do you pull the plug early or wait and cross fingers for Rivers into the 4th?

center
erik magnusson
jon toth
roullier
need to develop one still. Erik may just be undrafted? or much later. same with the Wyoming kid?

DL
nazir jones
there are others; but he caught my eye

kicker
zane gonzales
rams gave up a later draft pick in their moves with Dolphins, but Zane was awfully good. On a team that has to cash in when they get in range, Greg has missed some key kicks.

OG
jordan morgan
the interview sold me. like smart OL guys; he sounds like the real thing

QB
seth russell
not sure about this guy, and we have Murray now, but as UDFA?

RB
mixon
james conner
unpopular figure, but joe will succeed as a pro. if they let ray rice play again? This is great area for Snead to find a gem. Conner may be that guy, but I am just guessing the Bennie finds employment elsewhere.

safety
lorenzo Jerome

tight end
evan engram
jordan leggett
george kittle
we have to have one. And McVay is bound to chose. The Iowa kid, Kittle, can block.

WR
chris godwin
ju ju
cooper kupp
zay jones
josh Reynolds
handicapping the WRs is nuts work. Godwin's combine raised his value. Zay's all star work did, too. Cooper is smart. In fact, I don't think any of these names are on our club at the end.

I just imagine that they'll go WR or TE first

Find a corner next

Fill with an edge rusher or LB with the 4th round

which ever they pass on earlier I'd say it's Kittle or Butt as TE mid way. if not, Lorenzo the safety with the second 4th rounder

after that bpa; OL? Toth ?

CBs are very deep.
I think 3rd round is the sweet spot

LBs
Guy I'd target for value is Duke Riley, LSU - Great instincts. Smooth movement skills and + burst. Rangy and + in man coverage. Not very physical but also not afraid of taking on blockers. +++ working through trash.

EDGE
Jordan Willis went from a bit underrated to overrated imo. He's explosive and has some power but he's stiff for an edge rusher
Rivers will NEVER make it to the 4th. I thought I was being optimistic mocking him to you in the 2nd.
I have been a Carl Lawson fan for years. Mentioned him a ton here.
Sleeper for me is Pita Taumoepenu, Utah - Outstanding get off and ability to flatten on the edge. Very active/effective hand use. Reckless at times but usually makes it work. Insane spin move.

C
Like all the guys you listed.

Center I think you can get late is JJ Deilman, Utah. Was the top guy on a talented oline before he was lost for the season early on. Moved to center this year because it helped the team and actually might be his best spot with more time. Doesn't look like a classic center but he has long arms and was effective extending them even in such a compact space. Was a + run blocking RT but looked like more of a zone blocking center. I think that will change with experience/training. Was a clear team leader, I like that in a center.

RB
No need to dirty yourself with this RB class. Just a few, including Connor who you mentioned

Matthew Dayes, NC State - Late first round talent. Scalpel sharp cuts. Violent runner who attacks and finishes. ++ vision.

James Connor, Pitt - Workhorse. Powerful runner that punishes defenders. Quick feet and acceleration. + hands and RAC. Probably not a great match with Gurley

Jamaal Williams, BYU - Starter. Leggy RB that doesn't play like one. Good body lean, doesn't get tall until he's turning on his long speed, and battles through high tackles. Quick feet and burst to get up to speed in a flash despite length. + route runner. Ok pass blocker. More willing as a downfield blocker.

Jarvion Franklin, Western Michigan - Starter. Big back. Plays with power and lean. Always falling forward. + hands.

Marlon Mack, South Florida - Rotation. lightning quick start/stop, excellent vision, outstanding ability to get skinny through holes. Not powerful but gets YAC because he's so tough to get a solid hit on. Speed ALL DAY.

De'Angelo Henderson, Coastal Carolina - Outstanding foot quickness, feisty pass protector, makes first defender miss consistently even with immediate pressure. Lacks power

WR, S, and TE
All are deep with targets at every range in the draft
