I suspect that these last 4 personnel moves were made because of specific deals already lined up.
First the announced cuts and trade freeing up the $16 million.
Then, soon, announcements will be made of the already arranged pickups.
These were not randomly timed cuts just for the helluvit. They were part of a plan to steadily improve this roster in the image of the new staff.
I really like the way these new guys roll. I'm including the non Fisher hampered Snead in that "new guys" description, btw.
I'm a big fan of bold and decisive moves.
