I thought his upper body strength was better than it was. I commented at the time he had thin legs, but thought he could adapt and get stronger, Dennis Harrah had chicken legs. But Jones just didn't have "it". Fooled me.
Shows good college tape does not always translate. In his case, maybe the combine would have exposed some stuff. Though he was hurt and couldn't have worked out, but in theory, say a guy who looks good, given a lstg 1st round-2 round grade on tape, then goes to combine and is not explosive ... maybe it would give pause.
In our case he was hurt and it was a 4th round risk...if he is good it's a steal, if he fails it's a blown 4th---
